One of the great advantages to having a world-class facility like our Prairie Bleeding and Clotting Center close to home is that patients in the central and southern areas of Illinois no longer need to ask themselves: “Where do I go?”
Once upon a time this was the key question. When someone suspected that they had a bleeding disorder or a clotting problem the question would be “Where do we go in order to receive high quality, world-class care for this problem? St Louis? Chicago?”
Now that question can be answered: “Thank goodness, thanks to the Prairie Bleeding and Clotting Center, we can stay here at home!”
