Being able to access high quality, outstanding, excellent care for their bleeding, clotting and other blood related problems close to home provides a tremendous peace of mind for the people and the patients of Central and South Central Illinois.
These are the ares where our Prairie Bleeding and Clotting Center serves and which, prior to the opening of our center, were not being served.
Prior to the opening of our center, patients in these areas needed to travel long distances – sometimes hundreds of miles – to St Louis, Paducah Kentucky, Iowa, Chicago or Indiana for care of this quality of care for their blood related disorders. Now they can stay close to home and receive that same high quality of care at the Prairie Bleeding and Clotting Center.
